Second method: With the TV powered off (disconnected from the
mains!) short circuit pins M61 and M62 (next to IC7600). Power
up the TV and remove the short circuit. A 'S' will be displayed
indicating it is in service mode
Simultaneously press the P- and VOL+ keys on the TV. The screen
now shows 'service menu'.
To allow hotel mode from being set on and off you have to select
Option 2 with the remote and set 'Hotel' to 'on'.
Exit the service mode by putting the TV into standby |

Before being switched to the service mode the unit must be set
to a channel
with a test pattern. Note: The parameters are stored in changed.
Press the red key and the blue key on the remote control
simultaneously. Within 5 seconds, press the key P-and the key V+
on the local control panel simultaneously
The title SERVICE Vxxx (xxx is for software version), appears in
the screen.
Keys P+ and P- (program) Call up tuning parameters
Keys V+ and V- (volume) Modify tuning parameters

VP Adjust the vertical swift.
HP Adjust the horizontal swift.
VP Adjust the vertical picture height. Is the setting range not
sufficient
the range must change with the point CRT.
VL Adjust top and button vertical linearity of screen centre.
VB Adjust the intensity of the EHT. VB=24
PA Make vertical lines parallel with screen edge.
HA Adjust the horizontal size.
CC Adjust vertical lines in corners. Basic setting is 0. Setting
should only
be changed if PA balance cannot be adjusted satisfactorliy.
PT Adjust values so that picture has same with at top and bottom
edges or
other vertical lines are parallel with each other.
R Colour drive adjustment
G Colour drive adjustment

S-ADJ Connected a Test-picture with stereo signal to the tuner
and adjust
the TV. Connected Oscilloscope to Pin of ST601. Adjust to lowest

The processor IC850 in this TV receiver is fitted with two
memories in which the picture
geometry data are stored. If this IC fails or the data have been
changed, the TV receiver must be switched on the emergency data
set. Emergency Data Loading the Emergency Data :Press and hold
the "P-"button on the local keyboard and switch the TV on with
the mains button. In doing so, the data sets for the picture
geometry values, the deflection and chrominance data are loaded
from the keyboard control unit into the respective modules.
Subsequently, call up the Info Center

and change the
setting if requested. To store the data Call up "end without mem."
and select "End with

Enter the Main Menu
Press the digits 4, 7, 2, and 5, respectively
Press MENU key to exit
